What brings you to town and can you swing by Fort Worth while you're here, or, shudder, tell me where you're staying and I might even go to Dallas for a visit. I don't do that for just anyone, just so you know. If it wasn't for the airport in town (Love Field) and a yearly convention my children attend, I could count the number of trips I've made to Dallas in the last 20 years on one hand. But there's a train, and good trams, and if worse comes to worse, I could drive my pickem-up truck over.

Hey, MOM, I logged on this morning to count coups. I swung by a garage sale and bought a big plastic bin full of classical CDs. Must be 50 pounds of good name high-quality disks in there. Woman running this sale (they do 2 a year, it's for their church) didn't figure she could move many of those, so asked if I wanted the lot for $20. I ran over to the corner market and got some cash. I'll sort the ones out that I already have and see what's left.
