It sounds like fun -- I wish I was going to be in Dallas on Thursday.

Poor David's Pub is the third incarnation of a Dallas musical mainstay. The whole deal is that you sit around a low stage, enjoy an adult beverage, and listen to live music. Disrupting the music isn't tolerated. They regularly book top talent like Julie Fowlis. Poor David's is a block or so south of I-30 and downtown Dallas on Lamar Street, at the same intersection as the Dallas Police Department. It's a great place to listen to music.
