Matter of fact, RS, I don't think I have seen any other Russ Meyer films, though I've read about them, and I think I get the general drift of what to expect... ;-)

The title "Faster, Pusscat! Kill! Kill!" is indeed pretty hilarious, but the movie is simply unforgettable. It is the ultimate in B-movie trash of a certain sort, a veritable triumph of such, and in its own way a masterpiece of camp filmmaking as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is....sheer escapism. And, of course, it's a showcase for Russ Meyer's particular obsession which is: massively endowed, ruthless, and deadly young women who totally dominate all the men they encounter. As people used to say, "Go figure..."

Remember the character "Emma Peel" (Diana Rigg) in "The Avengers"? She was a far more restrained and impeccably tasteful version of something a bit similar...only with a lot more class. Most men found her pretty irresistible. I know I did. Highly effective women with unshakable confidence in themselves are just as attractive as highly effective men with unshakable confidence in themselves.
