Whether or not Israel feels backed into a corner is irrelevant. As the Israeli soldiers in the Breaking the Silence organization have said, the only way to make any change in the behavior of the government of Israel towards the Palestinians is to change the perceptions of the voters in the US, because it is we who are bankrolling Israel's activities.
