At this year's Douarnenez (Brittany) traditional boat festival 17th-21st July, (their web-site is here http://www.douarnenez2000.com/index_gb.htm (click))they organised a chantey competition for the Stan Hugil Trophy. I'm sure many of the Mudcat sea-song singers will be interested. Today I've e-mailed them asking for details of who won and with what. I'll keep you posted.
