Two definitive posts. Lox expressed what I have been striving to formulate, better than I was able to manage.
A number of us have been slagged for NOT opposing the Hamas rockets when in fact we HAD, REPEATEDLY.

Carol, Same standards for all? YES, YES, YES! I wonder how many times it will need to be said before the ISRAELI apologists concur?

Oh, and to whom it may concern, a point of FACT. There is NO SUCH THING as a Jewish Nation.

The NATION is ISRAEL, which happens to be inhabited by a large proportion of Jewish citizens, of MANY different original Nationalities.

JUDAISM is a religious faith, and I think that the founding fathers of that faith would object rather strongly to being linked with the actions of the ISRAELI government, especially as they were part and parcel of the original population of PALESTINE, in which Jews, Arabs, and even to some extent Romans co-existed in a mainly peaceful way.
