Hello, Guest Emily and her mother Guest Flora! Thanks for adding your version to this collection, Emily.

I'm particularly interested in the second part of the exchange between the Mom and the kids. That exchange is very much like a rhyme that I heard three African American children do in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I live. And that rhyme was very much like one that I found in a book of Caribbean children's rhymes.

I'll share the rhyme those two rhymes in my next post to this thread.

Btw, I wonder why there have been so many examples of this game from the state of Michigan.
