Last week a cruiseship brought into Juneau what they are fairly sure was a crew member with swine flu. The crew had been in Mexico. The ship company didn't leave her in Seattle or in any medical facility when she was at her sickest. They merely isolated her in her cabin and gave her anti-viral meds.

They did not inform the medical establishment of Juneau or the city itself that they were bringing her.

This is so far the only known case of swine flu in Alaska.
