Subject: RE: Lyr Req: 'Once in China there lived a great man...
My mother used to sing this to us when we were kids in the '60s. Her version was something like this:

Once in China there lived a great man.
His name was Chicka racka chi chaw chan.
His les were long and his feet were small.
This chinaman he couldn't walk at all.

The sailors used to carry him about
on their backs, and the men would shout:

Chicka racka chi chaw chan chicka-lorum
ecky pecky peck. Oh ko, oh ko, itchy onchi ko.
Here he comes and there he goes.
This china man with the turned up toes.
