Here I am wearing my aforementioned sunflower socks & sandals, and more besides. This was at this year's Morpeth Gathering; in fact, for this costume I won first prize and I didn't even know there was a competition!

The Green Fiddling Jingling Man

I made the mask based a sinister supporter on a Chester Cathedral misericord with a notion that certain so-called Green Man carvings are in fact depictions of Medieval carnival masks.

Otherwise, I've got through another winter with just sandals & socks; lots of rugged walks and all...
