Kendall and Jacqui,

I can and nothing to what has been said so far, other than to strongly second Dan's post. Prayers and good thoughts may not make a disease go away, but love does matter. You know that but that knowledge is just hidden from you right now by what I understand is in many ways devestating news, particularly in view of your expectation that you were going to take another step toward restoration of your voice.

I think you know just how much you are loved, both of you. And Kendall, you have Jacqui at your side now, unlike the first time cancer was discovered, to walk very, very closely beside you.

When you are ready, let this precious knowledge exist beside the anger and deep, deep disappointment.

I am grateful that the carcinoma appears to be in situ and fully contained. I love you for who you are, not for your voice.
