Cletus - I think cooking the rabbits in gin might taste divine - or maybe one cold make a rillette (coarse pate) like a pork pate. With Gin. But since cooking would boil off the alcohol (as a friend of mine used to tell his muslim boyfriend) while it would facilitate muslim consumption of the pate, I would think it a waste of the alcohol.

I wonder if gradually freezing to about -30C might produce a little slug of alcohol for me leaving the flavourings in the ice to melt to cook the rabbit.
