Family trees are interesting - I can truthfully claim to be able to trace my family to a man from Boston (the one in Lincolnshire) who settled in Massachusetts in 1630-something...but that doesn't mean that there haven't been grafts from the American south (1866), France (1884), Nottingham (1898), Ireland (1888), Germany (1922) and Russia (1911).
