What exactly are we talking about here? If you're in Ireland, can I recommend you contact the Irish Traditonal Music Archive - they may be able to confirm the importance and/or the the valuation of the material - and may be interested in purchase. Much as I love to collect material like this myself, I would always check whether ITMA has a copy first.
