One story mentioned that he had suicidal thoughts for many years. He
once imagined jumping out the window of a tall building that he was in.
He kept a loaded pistol in his desk drawer and would often contemplate
using it. I would hope that he could have used the Tai Chi powers of concentration to rise above those thoughts.
