Hi, Mom! You and the kids come on over for supper!

You see, I've got all these chanterelle mushrooms. They're growing all over the damned place. Can't walk ten steps without finding a bucketful. So, tonight I made chanterelle and chicken potato soup. Imagine New England style chowder, only get rid of the clams and add a couple of diced, sauteed chicken breasts and a whole buncha sauteed chanterelles. Still got half a potful left. Come and get it!
