I saw Ewan sing it once, one Saturday night at the Union Tavern in the early 1970s. He didn't introduce it at all, just sat on a chair the wrong way round as was his wont, leaned over the back and sang it. If pins were dropped they'd have been heard. My recollection is that Peggy was onstage too, but setting up with other musicians for what they were doing next.
