I was deeply saddened to hear of Johnny's passing. He was a true gent and an example to us all. I shall miss his friendship, encouragement and most of all, standing next to him listening to and feeling the resonance of those wonderful bass harmonies. I am sat writing this in a thunder storm - I swear I can hear Johnny's voice on the wind.
