According to a friend Mars the Red Planet is supposed to be at the closest it has been to Earth in thousands of years and can be seen has a large Red blob in the sky in alinement with the moon this is a one off opportunity to see the planet Mars fore it will be another few thousand years before it is in the same position again. It would be great to be able to see Mars from the Knockholt campsite.
