bruce i am with you thogugh we don't have kids round the dogs.

even when we move them in their sleep, if they grumble at us they are straight on their backs with a very unhappy mummy in their face.

with one of them we play eat his whiskers, that is the only time he is allowed to growl and show his teeth, mockingly aggressively, we know he isn't serious because he licks us at the same time. as far as i know he has only nipped twice once was when a kid stood on his tail, he moved very qiuckly but i don't think he got the kid, the second was when they were all tied up in a big EMPTY square, a man decided to walk as close as possible so he nipped his hand, very funny considering the man did it as a wind up, he has learnt his lesson that dogs are to be respected.

this doesn't paint me in a very good light i know but if they have behaved badly without reason, they are severly told off.
