Close friends of mine have 2 disabled children. Losing their house and everything because the insurance won't pay for their treatment and what they do pay is so little that the family cannot foot the bill.   For example every medication an autistic kid takes and needs to take is not covered ... because they consider autism a learning disorder hence will not cover the meds they need to stay focused or prevent grand mall seizures. Etc .. the health system in this country is a disgrace. Our elderly have to decide if they can buy their food or buy their meds ... and yet it goes on and on ...
