I'm wondering whether "the honor society" means the National Honor Society or something locally-based or school-based. It still puzzles me that it's so difficult (impossible?) to find a reference that says straight-out that she was a member of the NHS. Why would that not be in every bio -- or at least in every right-wing bio -- if it were true?
