Zal Yanovsky owns a restaurant in Kingston Ontario these days, the trendy but enjoyable Chez Piggy. (It's lasted a lot longer than the Spoonful did.) For reasons still unclear to me I once ordered and consumed a steak tartare there...
A few years ago the Juno Awards (Canadian music biz) gave Zal a lifetime achievement award, after he'd been out of the scene for 25 years. I think it's cause they had just found out who the hell he was!
