Let's have that again with tweaked HTML...

Jerry Freeman also sell tweaked Clarke's D - see Here, which also gives a link to how to make a muffler which looks like a fun thing to do, tweaked or not.

I think the old Clarke's are generally better; I pick them up in flee-markets & car boot sales whenever I find them. I was wary of the Clarke's Ds when they first came out, but the one my mother-in-law gave me a few years back (10p at car boot) is one of my favourite whistles just now, though not a patch on the Shaw D I fell in love with in Windows the other week. Hmmm - I've got a birthday coming up, but I could do with a couple of new Jew's Harps... Choices, choices!

Never liked Sweetones or Megs; when normal Clarke's sound so good I'm baffled why they bother to be honest. I find them bland and utterly devoid of soul. I see they do other models of Sweetone such as The Celtic Tin Whistle. Never seen one but I just know I'd buy the ghastly thing if I did.
