Hold on to the good bits of the tradition and build upon it in the traditional style e.g John Conolly, Hissyfit, Dave and JUlie Evardson, Anna Shannon, Geoff Lawes,

Ed Rennie, Ruth and Sadie, The ASkews,and shanty man extraordinaire Jim Mageean
