Thread Name: BS: Anti BNP Protests - Luton
Subject: RE: BS: Anti BNP Protest, Codnor, 15 August
We all know what Guest "Chris" is, we know what his friends are. Now the dust is settling it is becoming clear that there were 19 arrests on the day for public order offences: mainly not obeying police orders on the route and boundaries of the protest and for obstructing the highway. Charges have only been brought against four people. Three for "public order offences" (this normally means failing to obey police directions) and one for osbtructing the highway. On a demo-turnout of 1,500 people that's pretty amazingly good.

Sorry Chris, no drugs, no violence, no weapons offences.

As Emma pointed out, inside the field we had headline speeches by convicted neo-nazi terrorists and the presence of all the usual rag-tag criminals (proof provided here ad nauseum) including Lambertus Nieuwhof who is a south african terrorist convicted of bombing a primary school and of course Nick Griffin (1998, convicted of incitement to racial hatred.)
