I just read an article on health workers' refusal to get vaccinated against the H1N1 virus. None of their objections were a surprise to me except for one. According to the article, manufacturers of the vaccination against H1N1 are exempt from liability suits.
So if you take the vaccine and have an adverse reaction (a bunch of people died in the 70s from a vaccine that was rushed through in advance of an epidemic that never happened)you have no recourse. That also opens the door to sloppy handling and manufacturing, cutting corners on ingredient quality, etc.
Who is manufacturing the shot? Where is it being manufactured? How are the manufacturers chosen (the lowest bidder? The fastest producer?)
