Well, I yam home--I had a great reunion with Mudl;ark and we sang until the wee hours of the morning Friday night and Saturday Barky came down from the Bay area on her beautiful Harley and we went over the hills to Morro bay and walked the beach and had a fine time; last night we sang until late with some nice friends of hers who are very good, and the htree of them have some really beautiful arrangements. BBW and her Mom, known as Gumma, were there and we all had a fine ole time, I can tell you! Then Barky rode off back to the Bay, and the next morning we put on our roller skates and rolled all the way back down the 5 to San Diego. There are some very nasty scorched hills just north of LA and some big columns of smoke still in play, but the through traffic was actually very smooth. My heart goes out to those who have lost cabins in the Angeles National Forest and whose homes are threatened.

Now we are safe at home and we have the parakeets back and they are very happy about that indeed.
