Subject: RE: BS: Anti BNP Protests - Luton
In my view we should celebrate how differences between cultures, life experiences etc enrich us as a society, accepting the right to be different and not trying to impose a single homogenised version of what a society should be, be-it through eugenics-based far right ideology, or the extreme centralisation-based ideologies of the far left, or even the monetarist ideologies where cultures are more and more shaped by corporation like McDonalds and Tescos which, in my opinion does more damage to cultural identities around the world than migration ever will.

it may sound simplistic, but truths generally are, and an inescapable truth is that the foundation of any society should be based on people being nice to each other, and if people held that truth in their hearts, then it would become impossible for the hate-mongers to divide cultures. Without that division the hate-mongers can never thrive.

There are problems in the world: climate, hunger, disease the fact that we live on a planet which can be pretty hostile to humans - but humans are resilient, and great adapters. If humanity put as much energy into co-operation and creativity to overcome the problems as it does into fueling hate and paranoia then so much more can be achieved.

Any way that is my bud' hodne (be nice) speech. After that back to scrutinising hate-mongers and countering their divisiveness.
