Spare Parts (Bryan TheSnail Creer, Suzanne Higgins and I) have been running English tunes practice sessions at the Chippenham Festival for a few years now. They are very well-attended. We concentrate on English tunes that we have actually heard recently in the wild, and make sure that they are in the right keys.

The Lewes Favourites tune book is a collection of 180 of these and includes an index of the combinations in which the tunes are often played. The tunes can be downloaded in several computerised forms from the Lewes Saturday Folk Club website where you can also find an order form for the book, which has illustrations of their habitat, anecdotes and history.
