Things will be better when Tom and I can actually converse again -- his handwriting is really, really illegible. (And he was a teacher -- alas, not a handwriting teacher -- for a gazillion years!) Also when the holiday weekend is over and we can actually TALK to his doctors and get more info.

I know I'd like to whallop the nurse who broke the news to him. The way she did it was totally uncalled for.
