Giac, I posted something about this in the Help Forum. What would be very useful is a filter so we could look for messages by contrubutor or subject keyword AND dates. Such as:

Search for contributor "Mergatroid" FROM 1-Jun-00 TO 30-Jun-00. We wouldn't have to request the search engine to look for all of Mergatroid's posts, only the ones for that month. Likewise, if you knew there was a thread with "rubber ball" in the title, and it was sometime in Jan or Feb, you could only look for those dates.
