One incident I missed out.
A group of 6 Austrian climber-sailors had a meal, borrowed the guitar for a singsong, danced, were given a free jug of wine and tottered back to their (free) taverna mooring. Next day the captain rowed ashore with his till receipt to say they'd been overcharged. There was 1 euro 50 he couldn't account for. Someone (OK it was me) suggested it was 1 euro for use of guitar and 50 cents for use of plectrum but it turned out it was for a bottle of water that arrived at the same time as the free wine and for some reason he expected it to be free as well! Herself, noted for her mediation skills, intervened to repeat the foul weather warning our Owner had given us that morning so they went back on board to move to a more sheltered bay, promising to return in October. After they had gone the taverna realised they had not charged them for their coffees! I would like to be a fly on the wall in October!
