Just an example of the famous Greek filoxenia (hospitality), Kat. In areas not jaded by mass tourism shopkeepers still round down bills, bakers give out free breadsticks or biscuits (cookies) with the bread, tavernas give freebies after the meal: usually fruit, a sweet or a drink. Unfortunately, as in this case, some times abused.
