No, I don't remember it being at The Old Sergeant either, Jim! But I don't remember anything at the other end of Garratt Lane either. There was one, The Selkirk?, on a back street not far from Tooting Broadway, then The Grove at Balham.

I agree that it's a real shame the club has gone - it was one of the relatively few that had a basically traditional base, in latter years the only one in South London I think.

Good to hear the news on Dave's health seems to be looking up though - I hope it continues to stabilise and improve.
