A couple of fairly trivial memories - he had a dog, a greyhound cross, that he was devoted to and I remember him saying "One of the worst things in life is that she'll go before I do".I'm sure she did, but he cant have been much of an age.He was very clued up musically, and had a kind of muso rhyming slang that he used - so he'd always talk about "florries" rather than "chords"
