A friend of ours, John Montague, who is well known to musicians around the Leicester area had a serious heart problem at the beginning of the year and has become involved with the BHF as a result. He sent me this email a couple of days ago, so I thought I'd put it up here:-

Hi Everyone


You may have seen my picture and read the article in the Leicester Mercury Tuesday 27th September and you may even hear me Tuesday 6th on Radio Leicester chatting and playing live about our "Have A Heart" Concerts In Aid of The Glenfield Hospital and British Heart Foundation.



But I really believe in helping raise a few quid as just a small thank you for what these people and organisations do.

I NEED YOUR HELP

I offer this thank you not only personally but to share it with others who have or known someone (perhaps a relative or friend) who have also received treatments from this invaluable service.

The British Heart Foundation are working tirelessly alongside our Dr's & Surgeons at The Leicester Glenfield Hospital who help so many more than just Leicestershire folk.



I also realise that times are difficult at present financially but the work of The Leicester Glenfield Coronary Unit and The British Heart Foundation has and does still carry on.

As I unexpectedly and personally experienced, you just never know when you will need them!!



So please support us if you can and help me spread the word for these two Concerts. I promise they will be great nights of music and entertainment. Featuring The High Sierras, The fabulous Vikki Clayton, Dave Kirk and students of the Hind Leys College.

All The Musicians, College Staff and Students are giving there time for free.

So we want a full audience !!

If you cannot make it your self, no problem we will appreciate any donations or even a Raffle Prize no matter how small. Treat a friend to a Ticket as an early Christmas Present, what a gift!!
