In answer to the questions above about contacting their lawyers, I sent letters to ten lawyers who were named as having worked for Facebook.

I received just one response as follows:-

We appreciate the information you provided, and hope your problem gets resolved in a satisfactory manner. Helpful little bleeders aren't they? I didn't even ask them to represent ME. I asked them to advise their clients that I was seeking advice as to how to sue them.
