I only had the pleasure of knowing Lesley for a few years through Loanhead Guitar Club. During that time I never failed to be amazed by her seemingly effortless ability to take any song and make it her own. I consider myself very fortunate to have known Lesley and to have heard her perform her own lovely songs on many occassions - memories that I will treasure. She was always so generous with her knowledge and experience and really gave me confidence to develop as a singer. I don't think I would be singing today if it wasn't for Lesley Hale. Sadly missed.
