She said a couple of things that really struck me. One was how she had kept herself at a distance (from people) with all her traveling, performing, and social activism....that it was easier to have a close relationship (if a brief one) with 10,000 people in an arena than with just one other person.

So true.

Her courage and dedication in doing what she did in the antiwar movement and the integration movement was simply incredible.
