Very shocked to see the 'Obit' added to the thread title. I met Barry several times on my trips to the US and, apart from his great singing, I was impressed by his down-to-earth lack of pretentiousness, warmth and directness. The same qualities always came through in his Mudcat posts. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by the community over there.
