I saw Jim at a party in a hotel in Port Hawkesbury many years ago. Never met him, really, but I was impressed. Saw him a couple of other times on T'a Li'le Island, but I don't recall where or when. Seems to me, he was in Sydney one night when Makem was tuning up for a tour.
