I have a friend in Chicago who has smuggled her ball python (named Spot) into several hotels during filk cons. He's quite popular and has appeared on stage a number of times draped around the shoulders of some of our finer ladies. Including once when the lady in question was singing "Trust In Me" from "The Jungle Book".

The most mischief Spot has caused is when we had to extract him from the fiddle into which he'd begun to slither.
