How very sad. Just listening to her songs on myspace...she was really talented. I hope they do change the name of the award.

i live in Colorado, too, and the coyotes average closer to thirty pounds from what I've seen, about the same as my dog who is thirty-five. The one coyote I saw when living in Connecticut was much bigger...we thought it was a German Shepherd at first, so it had to have been at least 40-50 pounds.
