A while back I created a new song in this subject matter stream, and posted it on Mudcat under the subject Old Wine (Songs) in New Bottles.

I used a number of the familiar old lines, along with a number of my own, but put it in a different rhyme scheme and verse structure, a different sort of rhythm. I call it The Devil Takes the Farmer's Wife
