Good grief! I thought I was an early bird on a Saturday, Bill: you beat me by an hour! Yep, I'll be there on Thursday.

And as for mushy peas, you haven't tried anything yet till you've visited the hot pea stands at tne Nottingham Goose Fair in October. There's nowt like a little bowl of hot steamy green mush wi' lashings of mint sauce on a frosty night to warm you up! I once had to prepare a huge panful of them to be served at a Morris party along with real ale and BBQ food. Boiled for hours they were, and I think they should have been classified as chemical weapons by the time I considered them ready!
