I don't agree that "faking it" would be patronizing to your students. If you know the song (in whatever form) you can teach it to them. This is known as oral transmission and is THE way that folk songs are passed on to others.

If you have access to the Silver Burdett music education series of books and CD's, it's very likely to be in there.

The five verses I know off the top of my head:

She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes (2x)
She'll be coming 'round the mountain (2x)
She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes.

She'll be driving six white horses...

We will all go out to meet her when she comes...

We will kill the old red rooster...

Then we'll all have chicken and dumplings...
