As I said earlier, lots of people do - unfortunately most are ill-informed and misguided, and the media won't take a blind bit of notice, but at least the internet has given them a vent for their rancour. If you really want to make a difference, the graft comes in getting out there and knocking on the doors of the media - BBC, newspapers, etc - writing the press releases, building the websites, developing a sustained campaign of action, and developing a position of credibility through research and evidence which back up the things you claim.
