Amergin, I once dated a guy who would clip out magazine articles and coupons to give me (never anything of my interest) and it was such a habit, every time I saw him it seemed like he would have a scrap of paper he'd saved to give me.

Finally, he handed over a clipping and I proceeded to tell him about a cat I once had that would bring me presents of dead mice.

Well, he got my point, but it didn't stop him from giving me clippings and coupons... we just started calling them "dead mice".
