BWL, though I tend to only visit buffet type restaurants when I'm eating cheap and my kids can't make up their minds what they want, that is one good way to try new stuff. Alas, unless it's a Chinese restaurant, they rarely have buffets. This is good for the food, but it does mean you have to keep going back to try dishes.

Right now I won't waste my money on any ethnic food--I can't smell a thing, so taste has pretty well shut down with it. Moonglow had a cold last weekend when she was here, and she left enough of it behind to nail me.
